Reading Gladiators

Our Year 4 Reading Gladiators put their book knowledge to the test and competed against other Essex schools at a special Challenge Day at Brightside Primary School. They had three tasks to complete at the event: an art challenge where they worked together to create a giant bookmark for 'The Magician's Elephant; a quiz about the seven books they read as part of the programme; and a drama task which they prepared in advance based on the book 'The Many Worlds of Albie Bright'. The children have been enthusiastic about the programme all year and were super representatives of our school at the event.
