Wentworth Primary School came together on Monday 28th March 2022 to watch the planting of the trees. Children who are part of the Eco team helped plant the trees.

The Queen’s Green Canopy will mark the service of Her Majesty with every tree planted bringing benefits for people, wildlife and climate, now and for future generations.

It was a lovely event which the whole school attended. The children then gave 3 cheers at the end to mark the event in honour of Queen Elizabeth II reigning for 70 Years.

Thank you to our PTA who kindly organised the donations of the trees and to Mrs Nicholas and Mr Sollars for helping with the planting.
