Year 5 Adventure Day! 🌞🌳
Although the planned trip to Thorndon Country Park on Tuesday couldn't go ahead due to transportation issues, our fantastic staff quickly came up with a Plan B to make sure the children still had a memorable day!
Instead, Year 5 headed to Promenade Park, where they enjoyed a fun-filled day together. The children created and completed their own scavenger hunt, took part in team games, enjoyed a picnic lunch, and, most importantly, spent quality time with their friends. Their enthusiasm, resilience, and positive attitudes made the day a great success despite the change of plans.
The good news is that we have successfully rebooked our visit to Thorndon Country Park for September giving the children something exciting to look forward to as they begin Year 6.
A big thank you to our staff for their flexibility and creativity in making the best of an unexpected situation, and to our wonderful Year 5 children for embracing the adventure with such big smiles!
