Year 6 Pupil Makes Regional Junior Sailing Team Selection
We are incredibly proud of Year 6 pupil Matthew, who has been selected for the Royal Yachting Association (RYA) 2025–2026 Regional Optimist TEAM EAST Rising Stars squad. This prestigious selection reflects Matthew’s exceptional potential and provides an exciting pathway towards competing at national and international levels.
Matthew’s inclusion in the Rising Stars squad recognises not only his strong performance on the water, but also his commitment and dedication to an intensive program of training and competition over an extended period. This achievement marks an important step within British Youth Sailing, with the long-term aim of progressing to the UK Youth Squads.
We are immensely proud of Matthew’s hard work, determination, and achievements to date, and we wish him every success as he continues his sailing journey.
