One of our pupils, Holly, has donated 12 inches of her hair to the Little Princess Trust who make wigs for children who have lost their hair through illness and fund research into childhood cancer. Holly has worked really hard fundraising for the charity and has raised over £500! A huge well done to Holly!

On Friday 19th April, some of our pupils took part in an inter-school Rugby Tournament at Maldon Rugby Club. Schools from all over mid Essex took part in the tournament and both Wentworth teams played exceptionally well.

We are proud to announce we have received an award from the Royal Horticultural Society in recognition of the children’s work in the school garden.

Foundation children visited our local Morrisons store for a behind-the-scenes look at how a supermarket works.

On Friday 22nd March, Year 1 visited Colchester Zoo. The children had a wonderful time and got up close to some beautiful exotic birds - one of whom took a liking to Mrs Luchmun!
