Queen’s Green Canopy tree planting project

An official tree planting
ceremony took place on Tuesday 22 February 2022 in the churchyard
of St Mary’s Church. Our School Councillors in Years 5 and Year 6 took part in the ceremony joining HM Lord
Lieutenant, the Town Mayor and Town Mayoress for this special occasion. Some of our artwork was on display and poems read to mark the occasion.
Tea and cake was served in the Octagon after the planting ceremony and enjoyed by all!
